National Unity Platform ( NUP) leader H.E Presindent Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert today handed over a detailed report on corruption and wars among NUP leaders in Busoga sub Rigion by the Chairman of the War Investigation Committee Hon Jolly Mugish.
The National Unity Platform (NUP) has recently expelled five leaders from Busoga, accusing them of causing trouble in Busoga.
Among the expelled are Moses Bigirwa, Muwanguzi Andrew, Mukuve Ayagaaki Jamal and Nsongambi Saulo.
Moses Bigirwa, one of the expelled, said the expulsion would give the National Resistance Movement (Nrm) a chance to return to the issues they had expelled.
Bigirwa told reporters that the NRM members were sleeping happily and others were in the mood to expel them because they knew how to prevent the NRM from participating in the elections.
Bigirwa said there were some people who did not want the Nup to be an issue by pretending to be supporters of the National Unity Platform (Nup ) but the National Resistance Movement (Nrm).
However, on the day of the expulsion of the five, National Unity Platform (Nup) supporters in Busonga have been celebrating the National Resistance Movement (NRM)’s return to the issue.
National unity platfor ( Nup) spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi told reporters that the snubbing cannot weaken the party as they have been insulting each other on social media with meaningless comments causing supporters to start cutting themselves off.
