THE VICTIMS WILL BE DEPUTIES – POLICE

Police are on the hunt for a man who has been cheating them with money by promising them promotions , the investigation is being conducted at CID in Kibuli and each officer has been asking for Rs 50,000 and above

The fraudster identified himself as SSP Mushe Ronald using the phone number 076198763. He introduced himself as working for the Police Personnel Department and at the Naguru Police Headquarters.

Enanga said they do not have the officer in their books and this confirms that the person is a fraudster.

He reminded the officers that they should know that police ranks are for service and not for bribery, and that various criteria including character, skills , and other factors are considered for promotion.

Police also ordered the chiefs of these officers to discipline every officer who was cheated on the grounds that all this is against the law, and that the cheated should be punished through disciplinary committees within the police department.

Enanga also said they are investigating the man and how he got their personal details, which may have been linked to him within the police. He also pointed out that the privileges of the officer are surprising that the fraudster has been aware of including another person, when he was last promoted and other things. He warned that anyone caught would be judged.
