SC VILLA ON TRACK TO WIN ITS FIRST LEAGUE TITLE SINCE 2004

SC Villa continued their run towards the Uganda Premier League title with a victory over Wakiso Giants on Saturday.

SC Villa continued their imperious charge towards the Uganda Premier League title on Saturday when they easily trounced Wakiso Giants 3-1 away at Kyabagu Stadium.

The Jogoos   stretched their winning run to five games and open up a six point gap on second placed KCCA FC who have 2 games at hand.

 Charles Bbale orchestrated the damage on Wakiso Giants, scoring a brace, Shariph Kimbow had earier opened the score in the sixth minute while the other goal for the visitors came from Umar Lutalo late in second half.

Wakiso Giants FC have now lost five games in a row which puts them in 9th place on 26 points while table leaders SC Villa  moved to 43 points, 6 adrift of KCCA.
