The Uganda peoples Defence forces ( UPDF)General Court martial sitting in Makindye Kampala and chaired by Brig Gen Freeman Mugabe has today 9th May 23 Granted Mr Agaba Anthony aka Bobi Young 29 years old bail.
Bobi Young was arrested and charged on 30th Jan 23 for spreading harmful propaganda together with L/cpl Bigirwa Apollo and Pte Stuart Nuwahereza who since pleaded guilty were sentenced to 09 months and 23 days detention leaving Bobi young alone on that case.
While reading the ruling on the bail application the Chairman General Court martial Brig Gen Freeman Mugabe said it was his constitutional right,that the offence was bailable and had substantial surerities among other requirements for bail. The Chairman warned him not to go beyond Kampala and Wakiso, he was to pay 1million Cash and for his surerities 10 million none cash bail and is to report to General Court martial after every fourteen days .
ADDITIONALLY
Court has today Sentenced Namanya Joshua a 30 year old man from Kiruhura to 02 years imprisonment for the unlawful possession of Defence stores.
