COMMOTION AT SUPREME COURT AS TYCOON HAM AND HIS LAWYER MUWEMA PROTEST

Youthful City Tycoon Hamis Kiggundu commonly known as Ham caused commotion at Supreme Court along Lourdel Road in Nakasero after hearing that court will give its ruling in the case were Diamond Trust appealed the decision take by the two lower courts in the Bank’s loan case against Hamis Kiggundu’s company.

 Ham accused justice Elizabeth Musoke of conniving with Edward Kagurire  the lawyer to Diamond trust Bank to deny him justice in the case were he is battling with the said bank.

Ham first committed Diamond Trust Bank to court in 2020 and on October 8 seeking DTB to reinstate his account with Ushs 120 billion which went missing without explanation, In 202, Commercial Court gave its ruling in the loans case against Ham Enterprise’s favor a company owned the young tycoon.

However, Diamond Trust Bank having been dissatisfied with Commercial Court’s ruling through their lawyer Edward Karugire of Kagurire and Kiryowa Kiwanuka advocates appealed to the court of appeal which later upheld the commercial court’s ruling? Again the Bank was dissatisfied and through the same lawyers they appealed to the Supreme Court.

On Thursday 8, 2023, justice… of the court of called the two parties involved in the case to announce that he will give his ruling on Tuesday 13, 2023 but Hamis says that he has never been invited by court to hear his side.

“Iam wondering what kind of ruling justice Musoke is going to give when he has had only from one side. Is that what the law requires?’’ Hamis wondered.

He asked President Museveni to intervene into the matter because court has failed to exercise a fair hearing having denied him and his lawyers to tender in their defense
