WHY DOES MUSEVENI WANT TAXES TO LEAVE ST BALIKUDDEMBE (OWINO) - dailystarnews

WHY DOES MUSEVENI WANT TAXES TO LEAVE ST BALIKUDDEMBE (OWINO)

museveni has left his husband who has been giving him news in the markets of Kampala handing him a owino

Ian Gumisiriza Jeremiah who has been close to the President on market issues in Kampala whom Museveni has been sending him to give him information about the market has now given him the St Balikuddembe(Owino )to be the market inspector.

Gumisiriza has been involved in the 2021 election campaign by setting up a social networking site that contained Museveni’s messages to all of them by uploading it to the sevo app to campaign for Museveni’s support.

Gumisiriza was a trader in the usafi market for 4 years where he met Museveni at the State House and has since become his market spy in Kampala.

Gumisiriza said markets like the St Balikuddembe (Owino) have been in several disputes as the problem is due to the money being sold in the market by people who call themselves winery leaders eating every penny from him which is why there is no participation in the winery market.

He said he is not the leader of the market but he has come to help the KCCA officials in charge of the market in Kampala.

And yet his complaint to President Museveni was that the leadership in the markets should be removed because they had not started collecting money that was wasted by Museveni which had left a war in all the government markets especially the St Balikuddembe (owino)

Gumisiriza said there will be elections for the leadership of the houses that sell muwongo or potatoes by electing one person to lead them but there will be no top leader because they have seen that the leaders have nothing to do except get money from the traders.

He said he is there to reconcile the trader and Kampala capital city authority (kcca)in owino, I do not believe that they left him in the St Balikuddembe

Gumisiriza said they have a plan that each shop will pay 100,000 shs per month and the tax per bag of potatoes will be 200sh per bag for example.

The stall tax per stall will be 30,000sh depending on the stall location.

For toilets, traders will pay 100sh and electricity will be paid by each trader.By Dan mugula
