BISHOP ZOREKA SAYS: WE ARE ONE PEOPLE ONE UGANDA

Diocese of Kinkiizi Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka called on Ugandans to stop segregating each other basing on tribal and religious grounds because we are all one people according to God’s will.

The Bishop made the summon while preaching to the people ok Kinkiizi diocese residing in Kampala who gathered at All Saints Church this week under their umbrella organization , Diocese of Kinkiizi-Kampala Fellowship.

“ We are One People and One Uganda, let us love each other and stop evil deeds against our fellow Ugandans.“ The Bishop cautioned in his summon.

He also asked the faithful to be different and avoid evil deeds like corruption, cheating customers and telling lies as people of region that this can help change people’s behaviour in the country.

“ We can be the medicine for corruption ‘cancer’ to our country. We need to examine our self selves in our family, work places and stop following the partners of the world then the whole Uganda can change.“ He said.

The former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi who is the chairman of the Diocese of Kinkiizi Kampala Fellowship said that although he is not in active politics, he has never retired from politics.

A total of twenty-seven millions were collect (UGX 27M) as part of the money to finance the diocesan projects like reconstruction of the Cathedral Church.

Meanwhile a cake was cut and served to mark the birth day of Hon Ababazi who turned 77 on 21st January, 2024. He celebrated by serving the cake to the children who were present and were also born on that same day.

The fellowship was attended by the area member of parliament including the minister for Information and National Guidance, Hon Chris Baryomunsi, tycoon Garuga Musinguzi among others.
