Police in pakwach district are on the hunt for the escaped planters who have been taken to court
Four escaped planters include David Oteyetu who is accused of robbery, Simon Peter Otipo who is accused of rape of a child.
Vicent Wasumu and Guma Benison Mabbo are car thieves.
However, police and the prisons department managed to arrest one prisoner who was a vicent wasumu amidst a shootout in which they managed to arrest one.
The prisoners were escaping from a court in Kapwachi district but in the jail vehicle the four managed to jump out of the vehicle and fled.
West Nile police spokesperson Angucia Josephin said they were on the hunt for three suspects.
Agucia said they will be charged with crimes if caught.
