Uganda U20 lost honorably to Ghana U20 the host in the 2023(2024) all African games in Accra.
The Hippos played a good game only to lose it in the dying minutes after the Ghan’s Jerry Afriyie scored the only goal when it all looked as if extra time if would decide the contest.
However, the sports fraternity in Uganda have a case to smile because of the good performance by other disciplines for instance the Rugby team secured two gold medals on Thursday and two bronze came from the women Football team and boxing respectively.
Uganda has so far won a total of 14 medals, 4 gold 5 silver and 5 bronze and is in twelfth position in the table rankings.
