Star-Times Uganda Premier league defending Champions Vipers SC have eased their chances of defending the title after beating rivals Kitara FC away.
Two goals from Yunus Sentamu and Abubakar Lawal respectively were enough for the Venoms to taint the title chances of The Royals in the fully parked Kigaaya Church of Uganda play grounds.
The Venoms dominated the possession in the opening 30 minutes, and this yielded one goal through Yunus Sentamu shoots while the Nigerian import Abubakar Lawal doubled their lead in the just four minutes to full time.
The massive three point collection helped Venoms to make a sweet revenge after being eliminated by Masindi side from Stanbic Uganda Cup last month.
