Detective Inspector of Police identified as Charles Matubwa alongside 3 Police constables and a one month baby are confirmed dead in an accident in Kikuube District.
Three Suspects also died in this accident when a police pickup they were traveling in overturned in Kabale village Kizira road in Kikuube District.
The Albertine Police spokesperson Julius Hakza confirmed the accident and death but could not give details as more information was still trickling in.
The two other Police constables severely injure have been rushed to Hoima Regional Referral Hospital for medical attention.
Hakza said he can’t confirm the actual number of people who were travelling of the police Patrol pickup vehicle.
