Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere talking to the Kikuubo business community

Kampala Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere has taken the fundraising drive for rehabilitation of Nalukolongo Good Samaritan home of people with disability (Bakateyamba) to Kikuubo business community. The drive is aimed at rising UGX 800 million refurbishing and stocking of items needed in the home.
While leading the players in Kikuubo business center on 16th October 2024, he argued the business people to always donate to the vulnerable poor people that through this God will also help increase earning from their businesses.
He also told the Catholics to embrace and honor the SAAF funds which he said helps him to do different developmental activities for the diocese and part of this annual correction will be allocated towards Nalukolongo renovation.
“ It’s spiritually ideal for any believer to always give the poor especially the vulnerable one who can’t earn any income and can’t as well cater for themselves because by doing this we receives much of God’s blessing rather than taking money to bars,’’ Archbishop Ssemogerere stated.

He further said that Nalukolongo home also host two priest who have also became disabled and are catered for by the Good Samaritan sisters.
“ You can’t tell what God will bring to you we are all candidates of becoming disabled that is why we need to do donate generously and with one heart’’
The Archbishop all argued the youths not to abandon going to church for players that they need to balance enjoying life and also saying players on routine basis.
Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) Chairman Dr. Thaddeus Musoke Nagenda said that this is a well come gesture he called on the business people to embrace the SAAF project.
Our businesses haven’t been moving on well, we are also confident that meeting the Archbishop especially when he is preparing to travel to Rome for special players, it will benefit us and uplift our businesses specifically in this trying moment when we are parallel with tax collectors about the EFRIS,’’ Dr Musoke said.
Kikuubo business community acting chairman Siragi Ssebadduka said that as the business community they are very happy to host the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese for the first time in history of Kikuubo business centre.
He said that they collected Ugx 40 million towards the SAAF fund which he said was little due to the short notice they were give that it would have been more than that because the community if big and people are generous. The also donated several item
