The former Uganda Cranes Physician James Sekajugo has passed on and his demise was announces by the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) today and according to the federation spokesperson Ahmed Hussein, his body was discovered at his residence in Bugolobi a Kampala suburb on Friday.
Dr. James Sekajugo served as chairman of FUFA Normalization Committee in 2005 that ushered in the late Denis Obua as president and was also Uganda Cranes team doctor for many years. By press time the cause of his death was not yet known.
“We extend our commiserations to his family, friends and the football fraternity at large.” FUFA spokesperson said in a post on the federations twitter (X).
The demise of Dr. Sekajugo has occurred barely hours earlier, when FUFA announced “the passing on of Esther Musoke that occurred Thursday evening at Mengo Hospital. Musoke served as the FUFA Marketing Director between 2014–2022.
“She played a key role in growing the brand value of FUFA hence attracting several sponsors and partners,” said FUFA.
