LEADERS SHOULD LEARN TO GIVE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE AND FAILED TO DO- FDC PARTY PRESIDENT SAYS

The Najjanankumbi based Forum for Democratic change (FDC) party faction vows to shun all party leaders who want to be leaders forever in the party leadership without tangible achievements.

This has been aired out by the party National chairman Jack Sabiiiti While giving his remarks during the ongoing party 17th National Council meeting held at party headquarters in Najjanankumbi.

Former member of parliament for Rukiga County Kigezi Sub-region, Sabiiiti says every five years every party leader should account for what she/he has done during that period such that the voters can be able to vote him/ her back in leadership basing on what he or she has contributed to the party.

Sabiiiti also said that the party expect to give the number of members she/he has recruited in the party, for example the members which were elected to represent in the party in LC I, II, III, Mayors,MPs during his/her tenure and even should account on why the party failed to win any elective position will the FDC leader is in office.

He disclosed that this is going to help the party get credible leaders to make it strong because such leaders will be able to account for policies and reports generated and initiated throughout their leadership during their term of office.

Meanwhile Sabiiti has revealed that as FDC at Najjanankumbi will not get tired to call back all party members who departed away, saying the door is still open for them to came back to make FDC strong again.

The Vice president of the party in charge of Western Region, Robert Centenary had at the eve of the delegates conference commented on members who left the party and formed another group dubbed as Katonga faction led by former president Rtd. Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye.

Centenary also called upon all party member who bowed out saying that the gates are open for them and they are free to come back to their party.
