The National Unity Platform (NUP) yesterday sacked five leaders for disrupting the party’s activities.
The party officials said the dismissed have been not doing the party’s job properly by turning to social media insults.
Among the expelled are Moses Bigirwa, Muwanguzi Andrew, Mukuve Ayagaaki Jamal , Nsongambi Saulo and Bamu
Moses Bigirwa, one of the expelled, said the expulsion would give the National Resistance Movement (Nrm) a chance to return to the issues they had expelled.
Bigirwa said yesterday the NRM members were happy and others were in the gifts of lust because they have been known to prevent the NRM from participating in the elections and most of the youths have been placed in the National Unity Platform (Nup).
Bigirwa said there were some people who did not want the Nup to be an issue by pretending to be supporters of the National Unity Platform (Nup ) but the National Resistance Movement (Nrm).
However, the National Unity Platform (Nup) supporters in Busonga have been celebrating the National Resistance Movement (NRM)’s return to the issue.
National unity platfor ( Nup) spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi said the party cannot weaken the party because they have been insulting each other on social media.
