POLICE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ARMY ARRESTED SUSPECTED ROBBERS IN KAMPALA

Police in collaboration with the army in Kampala have arrested 150 suspected robbers including gunmen, street bag cutters and stolen mobile phones zakkora .

The youthful suspects fought with the police to resent their arrest but police with the help of UPDF over powered them and managed to handcuff some notorious ones while other where tied with ropes.

The streets where the youths were raided include Nabugabo, Nakivubo blue, Coopercomplex, Nakivubo Road where police conducted the raid.

Police did not exclude those who were standing in the shops, as well as those who were not doing anything in the crowd

Police have cleaned up the robbers, fuel smugglers, firefighters, and gunmen, phone thieves,

Police spokesman Patrick Onyango said the operation was aimed at arresting criminals, in Kampala.

Onyango said the residents of Kampala have been crying because of the thieves who have been cutting bags and stealing phones in jams and beating people peva.

Onyango said they will be taken to court tomorrow and police have charged them with misconduct.

Onyango said they are still conducting raids in Kampala and surrounding areas to arrest criminals.
