Kira Police Division has arrest and detained Kafta Queen One of the suspects that is allegied to be a girl friend to man who is believed to have master minded the acts of violence against the juvenile girl in the video that went viral a few days ago.
This woman was arrested from one of the Apartments in Kyanja Kawempe Division in Kampala on January 11, 2023 but the girls who appeared in the video caning the juvenile are still at large.
Its allegied that Kafta using one of her friends made a call to Nicole calling her to attend a birth day party at Nsasa village Zone A in Kira Municipality and the came from her parent’s home located in Kawempe Lugoba, Kawempe Division.
On arrival the victim found when her tormentors had already organized themselves and started immediately to ask her why she was in love with a man who is married and she started responding to them in a scornfully way and that is when they became annoyed and they started slapping her.
The footage from the CCTV Camera indicates about five people including a man and four other girls while bashing Nicole and police said Kafta was the one putting on a pink pair of trousers and a blouse and the accomplice started pulling the younger girl in all directions while slaping her.
They even un dressed her and remained in a short only and she was pleading to them asking for forgiveness but the tormentors just continued with the acts of violence against her while biting her with sticks at all parts of the body as well as pulling the hair .
Police spokesperson in Kampala Metropolitan Patrick Onyanga said that those arrested will be aligned in court and answers charges of violence and defilement case on the man who is alleged to be fought for by Nicole and Kafta others who appear in the video when arrest will answer charges of assault.
Nicole’s mother, Rashid Mutonyi Kwagala said that her daughter had disappeared from home two weeks ago and when she watched the viral video on social media when strange people were biting her she contacted police in Kawempe and opened a case of abducting and commiting acts of violence against her child.
Mutonyi said that her child has wounds on the buttocks, in the back and the legs are swollen and she lost her sense because the biting. She prays that she gets justice and the tormentors of her daughter are punished.
.After arrest, Kafta informed police that she has been spying on Nicole for long because she disorganized her family and her man had even stopped giving her sufficient money for use at home and she wanted to intimidate her such that she can leave her man.
