PRIME MINISTER NABBANJA WANTED OUT OF CONSTITUENCY FOR UNDERMINING AREA LOCAL LEADERS AND DIVIDING NRM MEMBERS

Former Minister of State for Economic monitoring who also represented Bugangaizi West in the eighth and eleventh parliament, Dr. Kasirivu Atwooki faults Prime Minister, Ms. Robinah  Nabbanja for undermining the current local leaders and not doing enough to attract development in Kakumiro District.

Dr. Kasirivu while on local radio (Mambya FM) talk show in Kakumiro said that Ms.Nabbanja is fighting the area local leaders and the veteran NRM experienced politicians whom she doesn’t want to get any job in government.

He said that the prime minister uses abusive language and calls every local leader who is not on her side a thief. ‘’What took our parents to bush is to fight is the poor leadership then. We will also fight this poor leadership by the top leaders in our district.’’

The self-styled ‘Majegere’ lady is said to have connived with MP for Bugangaizi West who also doubles as the state minister for Works and Transport Fred Byamukama to engage in fighting the area veteran politicians so as to gain political ground.

“I paid school fees for Byamukama nurtured him politically but he is conniving with the prime minister to fight me and other local leaders instead of working towards attracting development in our area. The prime minister and her allies don’t want me to get any government job.’’ Dr. Kasirivu said while on talk show.

The prime minister is also in hot soup for faulting the Buyonyoro Kingdom officials for fueling land disputes in the sub-region the vice she said was hampering social- economic development in the area.

According to one of the daily newspaper, Ms. Nabbanja claimed that the Kingdom’s actions especially concerning the threat of eviction from the land accommodating the Kakumiro district headquarters and other people on such land will hinder government plans.

Such claims she made while addressing the people of Kakumiro in a meeting attended by the Minister for Lands, Ms. Nabakooba and Bugangaizi West MP, Fred Byamukama angered the people in the electorate in the area and many now want her out and they vow to replace her with Harriet Ssali come 2026 general elections.

The presenter of the Mambya FM talk show rung Ms. Nabbanja to air out her views concerning the accusations but she declined to comment on such but she instead bragged and said she too busy to engage in such and threaten to take those whom she said are maligning her to court.
