Ruling NRM Party Cadres defect to NUP

Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine has warned politicians who joined his Party from NRM not to have appetite for positions and after receiving then you turn against NUP.

Kyagulanyi received over 270 new members and leaders into the Party. ''I welcomed our new comrades and thanked them for acknowledging that it is still possible to salvage Uganda from its current governance crisis and rebuild it into a beacon of freedom, democracy and prosperity.

He made the caution while receiving the converts how included the notable ones like Ssenyonga Muyanja former MP for Mukono North , Timothy Batuwa (Jinnja City) from FDC , JohnBosco Lubyayi Seguya forme Mawokota South MP, former Mpigi woman MP Sarah Nakawunde Temulanda and  Amaniyo Draville Sheikan Mukono District Woman MP hopeful. 

“There are some people who joined during the 2021 general election campaign and NUP helped them to win positions but they turned against the party and are now working for the enemy. I argue you not to be like those molls,” Kyagulanyi cautioned the converts. 

He talked about Kawempe South MP Bashir Kazibwe whom he said he even doesn’t know where his party Headquarters are located, he also mentioned the Kabonera constituency MP Abedi Bwanika and former Leader of Opposition whom he referred to as Museveni’s moles.

“If you become traitors because you have been merely looking for  positions here at NUP then you are in a wrong political party. For us we identify with people who want to fight for their freedom both politically and economically, “Kyagulanyi warned the new recruits. 

He also reminded the party members who turned up to witness the ushering in the new catch for the party to the mission of action to see the President Museveni is removed from power.

“We identified Uganda’s Problem which is Mr. Museveni’s longevity in power and his dictatorship methods of rule, thought of a solution.  We are now on our third aspect, which is action and the action is directed towards removing him from power and bring change that Ugandans are yearning to get”. He said. 

Meanwhile he also unveiled the vehicle he bought foe the Party’s mobilization work and each region was given a brand new Toyota Noah which mobiles will use in the ‘Kunga’ exercise.

The leader of Opposition Joal Ssenyonyi explained why he didn’t attend the Gulu Parliamentary sitting arguing that it wasn’t necessary since it’s a wastage of tax payers’ funds.

“The real problem of our community isn’t take Parliamentary session to the constituencies but help people access better education, health care and increase commercial production to help them come out of absolute poverty.
