Besigy was prevented by police from attending a rally at the Emerald Hotel in Kampala to discuss the oil spill.
However, police surrounded the rally including army which took a moment as Dr Kizza Besigy was shouting at the soldiers who disrupted the rally where he was speaking to the people on oil.
Besigye said people should stop being afraid of fleeing the army as the property is being taken away and returned to the private sector.
He said Ugandans should wake up and turn to Besigye or other leaders to fight for them when the country is being destroyed by human beings like Uganda.
Dr Kizza Besigye was not allowed to leave his car and was escorted by police to his parking lot.
