The bill has been opposed by MP Basalirwa today who will take it to the parliamentary legal committee. Some MPs have not hurt in their own rights and have started opposing it here leaving many questions whether the bill will get enough support.

West Budama North MP Fox Odoi has put pressure on ASuman Basalirwa to explain why he left the bill which is illegal.

Fox Odoi said the country has old laws that can punish homosexuals and he does not see why Asuman Basalirwa which led him to introduce the bill.

MP Basalirwa wants to change the fact that if you are caught eating marijuana you will be sentenced to life imprisonment.

have come out and further condemned those involved in the promotion of homosexuality which has started to manifest itself among some Ugandans.

They thanked the chairman of the association Asuman Basalirwa for prioritizing the introduction of anti-homosexuality in the country and preventing it from spreading.

The Secretary General of the party Kateregga Muhamad urged the MPs to work together to pass the bill without division as this is not saving the country.

He said some leaders have started being intimidated especially saying they will be banned from traveling to European countries if they try to prevent this practice from continuing here.

He urged them to give up everything, but fight the habit of riding horns as it is very wrong.

Meanwhile, the party spokesperson Kyamundu Abudul also urged leaders in various categories to stop thinking that the whites are the ones who run everything.

He also urged them to work together in the fight against Homosexuality.

This trend has been very evident in schools , in various institutions and therefore every Ugandan this is the time to sit up and prevent this trend from rampant in Uganda.

Recently, Bugiri municipality MP ASuman Basalirwa read out the bill for the first time in parliament and it was sent to the committee for consideration.

The bill included severe penalties for people who became involved in homosexuality, and those who instigated the practice, and those who encouraged others to become involved in homosexuality were imprisoned.

The bill included a 10-year prison sentence for anyone caught and convicted of eating porn.

Anyone caught having sex with a minor or person with a disability and eating sex and infecting them with HIV will face up to 10 years in prison.

Justice Forum (JEEMA) chairman Basalirwa wants it to be criminalized and those arrested should be sentenced to 10 years in prison if convicted, except for court orders to compensate those who cause injuries.

Anyone who attempts to persuade another person to engage in homosexuality shall be sentenced to 2 years imprisonment and any person who threatens another person to engage in homosexuality shall be sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.

Anyone caught locking another person in a place of rape will be sentenced to 2 years in prison.

Owners of gay counting sites will be jailed for 7 years, those involved in same-sex relationships will be jailed for 10 years

man and man will be sentenced to 10 years in prison and those who posted pornography will also be sentenced to 5 years in prison or fined ugx 100million
