Mary Begumisa, the National Resistance Movement ( NRM ) member of parliament for Sembabule district, has lashed out at her party for using yellow Tshirts when they knew they were the same yellow t shirts they were already giving to criminals in prisons.
He wants parliament to amend the prisons act to prevent them from counting the National Resistance Movement (NRM )colour.
Begumisa said the National Resistance Movement (NRm) should not be like the prisoners in jail because the same color they count and the party members use as the party colour
He said some people don’t want to wear yellow t shirts because they are called thieves because the color is similar to that of prisoners.
Bugumisa said he wants to bring a motion in parliament to change the color of prisoners in prisons because wearing the same color creates a bad image for the NRM in Uganda and abroad.
He wants the party leaders to consider the issue of changing the color immediately because where they are they are ridiculed like thieves in jail.
He said it does not give a good image to children and foreign advisors when they see a group in trouble counting the same number of prisoners.
