Due to their panicky instinct, some have even started winch hunting some people they think are supporting their new political rivals by maligning them and even causing their arrest by police to intimidate them so as to coarse them change to their camp.
This is evidenced in the arrest of Kisembo Deo and Aramathan Atugonza Omukwonge both University students by the Flying Squad police and transferring them to Kireka base for interrogation.

It’s also alleged that Kisembo was picked from the examination room at Victoria University along Jinja road by the plain clothed Police men who identified themselves told his colleagues and they told them that they were working under the directives of the Prime Minister.
The voice recordings sent to this website indicate that Kisembo was arrested on orders of the Prime Minister while Atugonza’s arrest was caused by Hon Byamukama and detained at Kireka.
The two suspects were traced by police right from their respective Universities to their home in Kikoni were they were arrested by plain cloth police men who were driving a civilian car holding guns.
One of the supporters of Nabbaja’s rival in a recorded voice was hard saying that the boys were which he says was wrong because it’s dragging the country in the past regimes’ characteristics which took president Museveni and his colleagues to Bush.
Efforts to reach the two Kakumiro powerful politicians were futile, the State Minister’s phone was picked by a lady who said he was busy and told our reporter to call after one hour but even after that time he didn’t still pick. While that of the Prime Minister wasn’t on.
In a new twist, Byamukama (State Minister) seem to have changed his mind after residents mounting pressure on him asking him to order police to release the boys because they had not committed any crime but he was only winch hunting them for their support to his new political rival.
The residents also allege that Byamukama mixed up the program for veterans, where he influenced and caused the resources to go to the wrong people who are known to be UPC supporters leaving out some of the intended beneficiaries.
The area residents also say that Byamukama and Nabbanja have started undermining and abusing their mentors like Dr. Kasirivu Atwooki the elder in Kakumiro and a long serving NRM cadres which makes the ruling party to loose popularity.
