The Archbishop of Kampala Catholic Archdiocese, Paul Ssemogerere has argued the people to work had in order to be able to sustain themselves and the church as well as taking their children to school because in this generation one can’t be able to prosper without formal knowledge.
The Archbishop gave the advice at the function in Mitala Maria Vicariate Mpigi district on Sunday 13, August, 2023 when the Pope Nuncio emeritus, Archbishop Augustine Kasujja was celebrating his 50 years of priesthood and 25 years as a bishop.
He cautioned the believers to stop selling off their land and instead utilize it for farming so as to acquire more wealth and take their children to school to help them shape their future. He told the people of Mawokota to embrace coffee growing like they use to do in the pasted because the crop has got enormous market and the government of Buganda is very much determined to promote it.

The Pope Nuncio, Archbishop Kasujja who was the main celebrant thanked the faithful for helping him to organize his celebrations and pledged to help in the pastoral work in the archdiocese and to render the service when asked.
The celebrations where attended by the Apostolic Nuncio to Uganda Archbishop Luigi Bianco , the speaker of Buganda ‘Lukiiko’ Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule, area MP Yusuf Nsibambi and other dignitaries.
Meanwhile the 8 priest where ordained and 10 seminarians were award the order of Deacon at Rubaga Cathedral on Saturday 12, 2023 by the Archbishop Ssemwogerere.
The archbishop cautioned the newly ordained priests to avoid to be taken by the world bodily needs because they are chosen by God to serve him. He also told them to be example to the people they are serving by catering for the needy, the sick.
